TakeAction Minnesota works to make change that matters to Minnesotans. We do this by organizing individuals to lead in their local communities, building dynamic coalitions that criss-cross the state, training and educating people to engage in public action.  We are composed of 21 organizational members (from disability rights to unions to environmental justice and much more-- take a look at this page), which include the largest grassroots organizations in the state, as well as 11,000 individual members. 15 Now Minnesota is a grassroots organization fighting together with low-wage workers, the labor movement, and supporters for a $15/hour minimum wage. We are the local chapter of 15 Now, an organization that launched in 2014 and led the victory for a $15 minimum wage in Seattle, the first major city to pass $15/hour. TwitterFacebook.

The Anti-War Committee
The Anti-War Committee began with 13 people who committed civil disobedience to protest the bombing of Iraq. We organize vigils, rallies, marches, educational forums, street theater, and civil disobedience actions to challenge the injustices of U.S. foreign policy. The Committee to Stop FBI Repression
This group sprung to life on Sept 24th, 2010, after the FBI raided several peace activists' homes in the Twin Cities and elsewhere.  Lawyers from the National Lawyers' Guild, leaders from labor and poor peoples movements, as well as average concerned citizens have come together to help us fight FBI intimidation and harassment. Communities United Against Police Brutality
CUAPB is a Twin-Cities based organization that was created to deal with police brutality on an ongoing basis. We work on the day-to-day abuses as well as taking on the more extreme cases. Our overriding goal is to create a climate of resistance to abuse of authority by police organizations and to empower local people with a structure that can take on police brutality and actually bring it to an end. We provide support for survivors of police brutality and families of victims so they can reclaim their dignity and join the struggle to end police brutality.

Fair Vote MN
FairVote Minnesota works for better democracy through public education and advocacy. Our focus is on progressive voting systems that lead to greater competitiveness, better representation and more participation in elections. We advocate for voting systems with a demonstrated record of success in producing these qualities such as Ranked Choice Voting in single-winner and multiple-winner elections.

Move to Amend
Formed in September 2009, Move to Amend is a coalition of hundreds of organizations and hundreds of thousands of individuals committed to social and economic justice, ending corporate rule, and building a vibrant democracy that is genuinely accountable to the people, not corporate interests. We are calling for an amendment to the US Constitution to unequivocally state that inalienable rights belong to human beings only, and that money is not a form of protected free speech under the First Amendment and can be regulated in political campaigns. Veterans for Peace MN
We, having dutifully served our nation, do hereby affirm our greater responsibility to serve the cause of world peace. To this end we will work, with others: To increase public awareness of the costs of war; To restrain our government from intervening, overtly and covertly, in the internal affairs of other nations; To end the arms race and to reduce and eventually eliminate nuclear weapons; To seek justice for veterans and victims of war; To abolish war as an instrument of national policy.

Minnesota Green Party
The Green Party of Minnesota (GPMN) is a grassroots organization dedicated to the values of the international Green movement. The GPMN strives to build a society in which all can lead full and productive lives in harmony with each other and with nature. The movement is inspired by the interrelated four pillars of Ecological Wisdom, Nonviolence, Social and Economic Justice and Grassroots Democracy.
