Welcome to MN Activist

A few things to keep in mind:

1. MN Activist is a resource for people in the Twin Cities (and beyond, eventually) who want to get involved in activism.  This site is a work-in-progress.  Our database is up and running, but there's still a LOT left to be added. Leave a comment if you have suggestions.

2. Aside from the org database, this site is a place where progressive activists can share tips, resources and important information.  Check out the toolkits and independent media links on the right, and our resource/discussion page here.

3. The final element of MN Activist is the bigger campaign.  The website itself is a start, but our goal is to help cultivate and nourish a vibrant culture of organizing in our community.  Voting is great, but real change comes from the people, on the ground, fighting for what we think is right.  With that in mind, we'll try to be a very active force-- creating partnerships, sponsoring events and building community.

More than anything, this site can be what you want it to be.  We'll be adding some video content, maybe a local media aggregator, links to events that are happening and more.  If you have suggestions, leave a comment.  Thanks!
